We work directly with SCEC-endorsed Security Zone Consultants to deliver the construction side of secure spaces — built to the consultant's design, correctly documented, and accreditation-ready by the time the agency's assessment happens. Currently delivered as fit-out projects within existing buildings.
The consultant designs the zone. We build it — and hand over a space with no gap between what was specified and what's actually on site when accreditation is assessed.
We work from the Security Zone Consultant's design through to build, keeping construction aligned with the zone's design intent at every stage rather than interpreting drawings after the fact.
Walls, ceilings, floors, openings and penetration sealing built to the specific zone requirement — the full compartment boundary, not just the doors.
Accurate as-built records and compliance documentation handed over at completion, so there's a clear paper trail between the design and what was actually constructed.
The space is handed over ready for the agency's formal accreditation assessment — nothing left half-finished that could hold up sign-off.
SCEC-endorsed Security Zone Consultants are endorsed by the Australian Government to provide physical security advice on the design and construction of security zones, as defined in the Protective Security Policy Framework and ASIO-T4 Technical Notes. We work alongside them as the construction delivery arm — building the space to their design and specification.
No — zone design is the SCEC consultant's endorsed role, not ours. Our role is to construct the space to that design accurately, and prepare it for the accreditation process that follows.
It means the space is physically built and documented to the point where it can go through the agency's formal accreditation assessment without further remediation work — no gaps between what was designed and what was actually built.
Currently fit-out only — construction of secure zones within existing buildings. Greenfield, new-build projects are planned for the future as this side of the business grows.
Walls, ceilings, floors, door and frame openings, and sealing of all penetrations, built to the specific zone requirement set out in the consultant's design — not just the doors, the whole compartment boundary.
No — design, testing and commissioning of Type 1A Security Alarm Systems sits specifically within the SCEC consultant's own endorsed scope, being an electrical/electronic engineering discipline. We handle the physical construction of the space and coordinate around that work.
We hold an NV2 clearance, which meets or exceeds the minimum NV1 clearance required of the SCEC consultants themselves.
The relevant agency completes formal accreditation, based on the SCEC consultant's assessment against the design and the as-built documentation we hand over at the end of construction.
It depends on the existing structure. In some cases the existing fit-out can be upgraded to meet the required zone standard; in others the compartment boundary needs to be fully stripped back and rebuilt. This gets assessed with the SCEC consultant as part of scoping the job.
Not yet — this is currently a fit-out-only service within existing buildings, with new-build capability planned as a future addition.
Already have a SCEC consultant's design, or need to bring one in? Either way, we can scope the construction side of the project.
